Siouxsie and the Banshees es el nombre de una banda de rock británica formada en 1976. Abanderados del movimiento post-punk juntos con la banda Joy Division, su música continuó evolucionando hacia el rock alternativo en sus álbumes y hacia el pop en sus singles. Siouxsie and the Banshees fue una de las bandas más inovadoras del movimiento post-punk.
En las ultimas semanas de 1975, Steven, William y Susan, ven actuar por primera vez a los Sex Pistols y se convierten en incurables amantes de su sonido. Los seguirían a todos sus conciertos, durante los días mas violentos de la fiebre Punk, vestidos de forma extravagante, lo que posteriormente seria fuente de la influencia para el movimiento Punk. Al grupo de fans conformados por Susan, Steven y William fue conocido como los Bromley Contingent (Barrio de Londres) y se constituyo como uno de los núcleos indispensables de los iniciales conciertos de la escena. Pese a ello el grupo se disolvió a los pocos meses.
Fair play to the Borrusia Dortmund fans for breaking into the Allianz Arena and somehow managing to change the famous glow of the stadium to their yellow clubs colours! They play each other in a Bundesliga game soon so this was just a way to stir up the atmosphere. No harm done (other than to Bayern`s pride) and a good idea.
